Obituaries

KERNERSVILLE – Hilliard Francis Morrow, 84, passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born May 6, 1928 in Micanopy, FL to the late Joseph Jackson and Inzie Matchett Morrow.

Mr. Morrow was a member of Gospel Light Baptist Church. He retired from the United States Air Force and US Airways.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, and one sister.

Surviving are his wife, Carolyn Bunce Morrow of the home; three daughters, Kathryn Kyle and husband, Mike of Rockford, Donna Spicer and Pamela Haggerty both of Kernersville; one sister, OmaLee Gray of Plant City, FL; one brother, Arthur Morrow of DeLand, FL; seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

A Funeral Service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Friday, August 17, 2012 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel with Rev. Frank Shumate officiating. Entombment will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens with military honors. The family will receive friends from 1:00-1:45 p.m. prior to the service.
