He was born February 16, 1941 in Athens, Greece to George and Flora Throgosi Kalanarhos. Surviving are his wife, Hristina B. Kalanarhos; 3 sons, John Kalanarhos (Christina), Savas Kalanarhos (Ann Marie) and George Kalanarhos; a daughter, Alexandra Bowden (Ricky); 8 grandchildren; a brother, Nick Kaparmazies; and a sister, Jasmine Alexandratos. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday at the Greek Orthodox Church. Burial will follow in Forsyth Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7:00-8:00PM Monday at the church with a Trisagion service at 7:30 PM.
