KERNERSVILLE—Mr. Tommy Sherrill Pope Died Monday June 11,2012 at Forsyth Medical Center. Tommy was born in Anson County to the late Horace K. and Pearl Mae Tucker Pope. He was a Member of Glenn View Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife Ann D. Pope of the home; one son Tim L Pope (Becky) of Winston-Salem; one Daughter Renee Pope Goodwin (Bill) Raleigh; two grandchildren Bryan Pope (Angela) and Amy Shore (J.R.); Four Great Grandchildren, Jordan Shore, Juleigh Shore, Drew Pope, and Nickie Pope; Three brothers, Kenneth Pope, Bradley Pope, and Frank Pope; two sisters, Grace Pope and Shasta Thompson.
A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 AM Wednesday June 13, 2012 at Glenn View Baptist Church with Dr. Bill Coleman and Rev. Johnny Gupton officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
