Martha Masten Comeaux, 74, of Lewisville, passed away at Bermuda Commons Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on June 25, 2012. She was born in Winston-Salem on Feb 14, 1938. She was the daughter of Robert E. and Brona S. Masten. She graduated from Reynolds High School in 1956, attended Appalachian State University, Baptist School of Nursing in Winston-Salem, and Baylor Medical School of Nursing in Dallas. Martha worked as a nurse delivering babies which she enjoyed. Martha grew up at Trinity Moravian and was attending Olivet Moravian Church at the time of her death. Martha is survived by her loving husband, Gil; two children, Brona Gayle C. Huston and Wesley Comeaux; granddaughter, Athnie Comeaux; her former daughter-in-law and friend, Patricia Bruhl; her sister Sue and James Carmichael and their children, Thomas, Paul and John; and her uncle and his wife, Luther D. and Betty Masten. A memorial service will be held at Olivet Moravian Church at 11AM on Thursday June 28, 2012 with Rev. Doug Rights and Dr Bill Campbell officiating.
