Obituary:
Mrs. Patsy Ann Rideout Holder, 79, passed away Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem. She was born in Forsyth County on February 12, 1933 the daughter of the late Amos Hall Rideout and Rachael Sapp Rideout. Mrs. Holder was a loving wife and Godly mother who was a great source of encouragement and inspiration to those in her life. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Winston-Salem and an accomplished poet. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Diana Haymore in March of this year.

Mrs. Holder is survived by her husband of 58 years, Hugh T. Holder Sr. of the home, her children, Hugh T. “Tam” Holder Jr. (Lori) of Tobaccoville, Van Allen Holder of Winston-Salem, Suzanne Morton (Donald Morton Jr.) of Winston-Salem and Brian Holder of Winston-Salem, 7 grandchildren, Andrew, Alex, Hannah, Matthew, Megan, Molly and Miles, two sisters, Norma Lee Reich of Winston-Salem and Carole Carr of Clemmons and a brother, Steve Rideout of Winston-Salem.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at Hayworth-Miller Chapel in Rural Hall with Rev. Guy Hipp officiating. Burial will follow in Crestview Memorial Park in Rural Hall. The family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00 this evening Monday, July 2, 2012 at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to: Hospice and Palliative Care Center, 101 Hospice Ln., Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
