Name: David Aldine Todd, Sr. Dates: Birth date: March 7, 1919 Death date: July 19, 2012 Obituary: Mr. David Aldine Todd, Sr., 93, formerly of Winston-Salem passed away Thursday, July 19, 2012 at Southern Care Hospice in Charleston, S.C. He was born March 7, 1919 in Forsyth County to David Joseph and Kate Brewer Todd. Mr. Todd was a veteran of the US Army serving in WWII. He was preceded in death by his wife, Aniece Shields Todd. Surviving is a son, David A. Todd, Jr. of Charleston, S.C.; and a sister, Nancy Harvel of Winston-Salem. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday at Parklawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Sunday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care, 101 Hospice Lane, W-S, N.C. 27103.
