Mr. Billy “Darrell” Fesmire, 72 of Winston-Salem, NC passed away Monday July 30, 2012 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Mr. Fesmire was born July 7, 1940 in Randolph County, NC to the late Floyd A. Fesmire and Mabel Allen Fesmire. He worked in Security for Pepsi Corp. Darrell was preceded in death by his biological father, Floyd Fesmire, his mother, Mabel Allen Long, special Dad, Franklin C. Long and special son; Gerald “Jerry” Bush. Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife; Patty Fesmire of the home, a daughter, Kim Severt of Kannapolis, NC, a loving daughter-in-law, Amy Hancock, three grandchildren, Josh Severt, Dallas Severt, Jeremy Bush, two sisters, Judy Compton, JoAnne Conrad and special friends, Steve and Nancy. A Memorial Service will be conducted 4:00 pm Thursday, August 2, 2012 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel officiated by Rev. Jim Sherman. Memorials may be made to Hospice Palliative Care, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103. The Fesmire Family would like to express their appreciation to the Staff at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home for the care given to Darrell, and especially to Jane, Princilla, Jerry and Melissa.
