Mrs. Mary Alice Boger Fulp, 75, of Walkertown, NC, passed away on Thursday, August 2, 2012 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mrs. Fulp was born on April 3, 1937 in Davie County, NC to the late George Malchus and Amanda Jane Dunn Boger. Mrs. Fulp was of the Baptist faith and a member of Gospel Light Baptist Church. She volunteered with Meals on Wheels. She retired as a customer service representative with AT&T. Proceeding Mrs. Fulp in death along with her parents are two brothers, Paul and Claude Boger; four sisters, Mabel Howard, Helen Williams, Irene Anderson, and Estelle Allen. Surviving Mrs. Fulp are her husband, Elmer Fulp of the home; two daughters, Lisa F. Smith (Mark) of Lexington, NC and Diane F. Ridings (Jack) of Lewisville, NC; four grandchildren, Ryan Smith and Amanda Smith of Lexington, NC, Selina Rodriguez (Juan) of Midland, NC, and Matthew Ridings (Leisa) of Winston-Salem; two great-grandchildren, Gracie Ridings and Katherine Ridings; two sisters, Sarah Jones of Mocksville, NC and Evelyn Seamon of Mocksville, NC; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, August 4, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with the Rev. Bobby Robertson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. A private burial will take place at a later date at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown, NC.
