Name: Dallas Lee Barker Dates: Birth date: July 2, 1967 Death date: August 6, 2012 Obituary: Walnut Cove – Dallas Lee Barker, 45, formally of Walkertown passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday, August 6, 2012. He was born July 2, 1967 in Forsyth Co. to Rudolph Edwin Barker, Jr. and Glenda Ferguson Barker. Dallas had a huge heart with a great big smile and will be truly missed by all that knew him. In addition to his parents surviving are his two sons, Christopher Lee Barker and wife, Kendra, Michael Lee Barker; one grandson, Brayden Christopher Barker; one sister, Tammy Hutchings; and a very special niece, Samantha Nicole Hutchings; three step-daughters, Brandy, BreAnna, and Lauren Osborne; several aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. A Memorial Service will be conducted at 3:00 PM Saturday, August 11, 2012 at Liberty Baptist Church 1548 Old Hollow Rd., Winston Salem, NC 27105 with Pastor Gary Styers and Pastor Gary Sisk officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall. Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the Barker family.
