Name: William Glenn Clinard Dates: Birth date: February 17, 1926 Death date: June 15, 2012 Obituary: KERNERSVILLE - William Glenn Clinard, 86, died Friday, June 15, 2012 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. William was born February 17, 1926 in Guilford County to the late Lawrence Vernon and Ola Cagle Clinard. He served in the US Navy during WWII. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Ronnie Ray Clinard and brother, Eugene Clinard. Surviving are his wife of 65 years, Evelyn C. Clinard; a son, Mickey Glenn Clinard (Brenda); a daughter, Tammy C. DeWalt (Steve); a daughter-in-law, Judy Clinard; 6 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 3 brothers, Weldon, Vernon and Bobby Clinard; and a sister, JoAnn Clinard. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Monday, June 18, 2012 at Hillcrest Baptist Church with Rev. Jason Murray officiating. Burial will follow at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 5 - 7 PM Sunday, June 17, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel.
