Name: Tobie Leigh Smith Dates: Birth date: January 3, 1953 Death date: September 19, 2012 Obituary: Tobie Leigh Smith of Winston-Salem passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 19, 2012. Tobie was born January 3, 1953 to George B. Smith and Edith Farrington Smith who preceded her in death. Tobie is survived by her brother Tim and sister-in-law Nancy, one sister Toni, a nephew Eric Williams, great nieces Kayla and Haleigh Williams. Tobie was a graduate of Parkland High School and UNC Greensboro. She worked for Piedmont Airlines which became US Airways for 35 years. At Tobie’s request there will be no services. The family would like to thank all her wonderful friends, neighbors and co-workers for all of their love, support and kindness. Memorials may be made to the Kate B.
