Mrs. Nell Nissen Charles Brown passed away Thursday evening, July 18, 2012 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Nell was born March 23, 1918 to Carl Francis Nissen and Amy Blake Yokely Nissen in Forsyth County. She was a member of Immanuel / New Eden Moravian Church. Nell was preceded in death by her first husband, Arnold D. Charles and second husband, Henry V. Brown. Surviving to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Ann C. Yountz (George), and Judy C. Gregory (Jerry) both of Winston-Salem; as well as two grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. A graveside service will be conducted 11:00AM Saturday, July 21, 2012 at Saints Delight Primitive Baptist Church with Rev. Norwood Green officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00PM until 8:00PM Friday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Memorials may be made to Kate B.
