Name: James Robert Boyce Dates: Birth date: December 9, 1954 Death date: July 20, 2012 Obituary: Meadows of Dan, VA – James Robert “Bobby” Boyce, 57, passed away Friday, July 20, 2012 at Wake Forest Baptist Health. He was born December 9, 1954 in Bluefield, WV to Robert Hilton and Doris Burchett Boyce Mr. Boyce was an avid outdoorsman, he loved the mountains and he especially loved his faithful German Shepherds. He was preceded in death by his father, and daughter, Tara Boyce Burlage. Surviving are his wife, Joyce S. Boyce of Meadows of Dan, VA; mother, Doris of Kernersville; sister, Mary Boyce-Johnson and husband, Denis of Winston Salem; and his ten German Shepherds.
