From Greensboro take I-40 West Toward Statesville (bypassing downtown W-S which is Business I-40). Take exit 190 (Hanes Mall Blvd.) turn right. Go approx. 1/2 mile. From Statesville take I-40 East toward Winston-Salem/Greensboro. Take exit 188 (Business I-40/ US 421 South) turn right on Silas Creek Parkway South. Go past Hanes Mall Blvd. (stay in right lane). In 1965, Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home was relocated from its original location on West Fifth Street in downtown Winston-Salem to the western suburbs on Silas Creek Parkway. This was the first funeral home in this area to be built specifically to serve as a funeral home. Our Silas Creek location has been expanded several times, and a crematory was added in 1996 to serve those families who prefer cremation.

Opened in 1970, Hayworth-Miller's second location, the Rural Hall Chapel, is located at 305 Highway 65 West. This location serves the communities of northern Forsyth County and southern Stokes County. This building was designed and constructed as a funeral home rather than a converted residence, and maintains a full selection of funeral merchandise including caskets, vaults, cremation urns, and other funeral related goods.

In 1984, Hayworth-Miller purchased the Lain Funeral Home, which serves eastern Forsyth and western Guilford Counties. This full service location is managed by Larry Cain, the former manager of Lain Funeral Home and is named Hayworth-Miller-Cain. The business was relocated in 1990 with the construction of a new building at the corner of North Main Street and Smith Edwards Road.

Located in the Kinderton business park on U.S. Highway 158 across from Bermuda Run, and between Clemmons and Advance, our fourth location opened in November 1999. Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel is conveniently located to serve western Forsyth, eastern Davie, and northern Davidson Counties with the quality service people have come to expect from our firm.
