Leland Meadwell, Jr.

Mr. Leland Estell Meadwell, Jr. passed away January 11, 2021 at his residence.  He was born November 24, 1952 In Tazwell, Va. To the late Leland Estell Meadwell, Sr. and Mildred Ailifair Jennings Meadwell.  Leland worked most of his life in various fields of construction.  He enjoyed going to the beach with his friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents.  He is survived by two sons, Andrew and Chris Meadwell; grandchildren Caleb, Jacob, and Jackson Meadwell; brother, Jack Meadwell (Sandra); sister, Sandra Rannells, and numerous nieces and nephews.  No formal services will be held at this time.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to JDRF for charitable contributions.
