Abygail "Aby" Pritchard Jones

Mrs. Abygail “Aby” Pritchard Jones, 58, passed away Monday, April 1, 2024, at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital. She was born September 1, 1965, in Forsyth County to the late Lewis Earnest Pritchard and Virginia Jenkins Pritchard. She came from a large loving family.  Aby was a loyal and dedicated wife, mother, and grandma. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Aby was adventurous and enjoyed water skiing at Belews Creek and planting flowers and vegetables. She is survived by her high school sweetheart and loving husband of 40 years, Derek Charles Jones; two sons, Kasey Jones and Benjamin Jones; daughter, Crystal Rose; eight grandchildren; and two brothers, Calvin Lee Pritchard and Lewis Pritchard, Jr. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm, Saturday April 6, 2024, at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you plant flowers or a tree in honor of Aby.
