Ada Elizabeth Threatt Dill, 84, passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Carolina Healthcare of Lincolnton. Ada was born on February 10, 1935 in Union County to the late Remus Threatt and Carrie Price Threatt. She was a member of Robinhood Road Baptist Church where she was a part of the Primetimers. Ada enjoyed gardening, loved flowers and in her earlier days she liked to sew. She was a kindhearted and caring person who loved the Lord and her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ed T. Dill, Sr.; her daughter, Patsy Tate; five brothers; and four sisters. Surviving family includes her two sons, Ed Thomas Dill, Jr. (Rhonda) of Lincolnton and Jeff Harrington and fiancee Ann Elizabeth of Newton; eight grandchildren, Nicholas Dill, Christina H. Mayberry (Randall), Candace H. Roadcapp (Tim), Ryan Sparnell, Brandy H. Connell, John Allen, Jim Allen and Chelsea Hoyle; son-in-law, Billy Tate; and eleven great-grandchildren, Riley, Austin, Andrea, John, Gabriel, Isabella, Alora, Benjamin, Austin, Madison and Alison. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel, with a graveside service to follow at 2:00 PM at Westlawn Gardens of Memory Mausoleum Chapel, in Clemmons, with Rev. John E. Hackworth, Jr. and Rev. Orville Threatt officiating. Memorial donations may be made to, Robinhood Road Baptist Church, 5422 Robinhood Rd., Winston-Salem, NC 27106.
