Ada Mae Wright Golson

KERNERSVILLE - Mrs. Ada Mae Wright Golson, 81, devoted mother and grandmother, died Thursday, June, 16, 2011, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem. Ada was born on February 22, 1930 in Tupelo, Mississippi to the late Clifford Vastine and Lucy Duncan Wright. She was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church and was known for her silly giggle! In addition to her parents, Ada was preceded in death by a daughter, Jan Hutchins. Mrs. Golson is survived by a brother, Paul W. Wright, of Fernandina Beach,FL; a sister, Jean Tomlin, of Montgomery, AL; a grandson, Jeremy Adam Delk; and three nieces, Diane Martin and Denise Russell and Felicia Duncum. A funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Sunday, June 19, 2011 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with the Rev. Dale Hilton officiating. (Private burial will follow) The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
