Addie Mae Livengood Ayers

Addie Mae Livengood Ayers, 86, of Clemmons passed away on Saturday May 6, 2017. Addie was born March 21, 1931 in Forsyth County to Carl Richard and Ethel Clinard Livengood. Addie loved her family and especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She retired from AMP and enjoyed traveling. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Lawrence Ayers, Jr.; son, William Lawrence Ayers III; sister, Jean Bowden; and grandson, John Woosley. Addie is survived by six daughters, Marie Petty (Kyle), Vicky Taylor (Roy), Debra Amos, Kathy Remy, Kimberly Ayers, and Amanda Ayers; one sister, Shirley Hauser (Eugene); two brothers, Carl Richard Livengood Jr. and Bobby Ray Livengood; six grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Old Center Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, 8998 Center Grove Church Rd, Clemmons, NC with Pastor L.C. Taylor officiating.
