Addie Frances Bradford Freeman

Addie Frances Bradford Freeman, 94, of Kernersville, NC passed away on Monday, June 8, 2026, at Kernersville Medical Center. She was born to the late James Bradford and Pearl Jones Bradford on July 3, 1931, in Williamsburg, Kentucky.

Addie graduated from Whitley County High School in Williamsburg, Kentucky. She was a longtime member of Faith Baptist Church in Titusville, FL. Addie moved to Dayton, Ohio when she turned 18 and married the love of her life, Jack in 1949. Jack and Addie moved to Florida in 1984. After Jack’s passing in 2016, Addie moved to North Carolina to be closer to family.

In addition to her parents, Addie is preceded in death by her loving husband, Jack C. Freeman; son, Tim Freeman; and ten siblings.

She is survived by her daughters, Sandy Spady, and Vicki Guchemand (Kevin); grandchildren, Ryan Cook (Kelly), Lyndsay Hood (Chris), and Jordan Freeman (Miranda); great-grandchildren, Rory Cook, Stone Cook, Finnley Idol, Parker Idol, and Otto Freeman; one sister; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, June 12, 2026, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel. Officiating the service is Pastor Judd Dixon. The burial will follow at Mt. Gur Cemetery in Kernersville.
