Agnes Hicks

Mrs. Agnes "Nancy" Dewar Strachan Hicks passed away Wednesday morning, November 16, 2022 at Mallard Ridge Assisted Living. Nancy (as friends and family knew her) was born in Edinburgh, Scotland on November 14, 1933 to the late Allan Anderson Strachan and Lily Finlay Thomson Strachan. Nancy was a member of Old Town Baptist Church and retired from the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County School System with twenty-three years of service. She enjoyed shopping, knitting and crocheting. Nancy loved to travel. She is survived by her husband Billie Edmond Hicks; three sons Mark Hicks, Donald Hicks, and David Hicks (Naomi); and sister-in-law Kathleen Strachan.
