Albert Manuel Doub

Mr. Albert Manuel Doub, 74, passed away Thursday, December 8, 2016 at the Oaks Nursing Home. Mr. Doub was born on August 28, 1942 to William Grady and Mattie Mae Wagoner Doub. He was preceded in death by his parents. In addition to his parents, his was preceded in death by two sisters Susie Adams and Nannie Blankenship, a brother Carlysle Doub. Mr. Doub is survived by three brothers, George Doub and Terry Doub of Lewisville, Shelby Doub and wife Doris of Olin, NC, two sisters Mildred Henderson of Winston-Salem and Lorene Lashley of Farmington, a brother-in-law Charles Lashley of Autumn Oaks in Mocksville, several Nieces and nephews. He is also survived by Wayne Marion, who was his faithful caretaker for many years and was well taken care of, and by two special friends James Johnson and Roger Davis. He was retired from the NC State DOT. Albert never met a stranger. He loved to go on wagon trains and was an outdoors man. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December13, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Lewisville United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Michael Flack officiating. The family will receive friends Monday, December 12, 2016 from 7:00 until 9:00 PM at Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel.
