Albert James Lincoln

Mr. Albert James (A.J.) Lincoln Jr., age 81, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday July 30, 2023 at Summerstone Healthcare in Kernersville, NC. 

He was the only child born to Albert J Lincoln, Sr. and Margaret Helen Shoaf Lincoln on September 14, 1941 in Forsyth County.  He graduated from Gray High School, attended Lees McCrae College and graduated from Winston-Salem State University.  He retired from United Plywood in Mocksville, NC, as bookkeeper. 

He loved to garden and travel the world.  He had a big heart for people and for animals, especially for his last dog Lucy.  He is survived by numerous cousins. 

There will be a graveside service held by Rev. Blake Hooks, his second cousin, at Forsyth Memorial Park on Friday, August 4, 2023 at 11:00 am, with visitation to follow the service.
