Alice Hackett

Alice Irene Hackett, 93, passed away on Monday, September 4, 2017 at Regency Care of Clemmons.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Quincy Hackett; her parents, Charlie and Bessie Brown Bodford; daughter, Linda Gammon; step-daughter, Frances Landrome; step-son, Charles Hackett; and grandsons, Tommy Mabe and Randy Hackett.

Surviving family includes her children: Martha White and husband Bill, Arthur "Leroy" Hackett and wife Kathleen, Walter "Frankie" Hackett and wife Diane, Pastor Donald Ray Hackett and wife Barbara, Debbie Zimmerman, and Nancy Hackett; sisters, Ethel Mae Stanfield and Margaret Howerton and husband Charles "Muscles" Howerton; grandchildren, Doug Gammon, Marty White, Greg White, Melissa White, Chris Hackett, Karen Hackett, Tony Hackett, Tammy, David Hackett, Mark Smith, Michael Smith, Terry Smith, Tabitha Hackett, Joshua Johnson, Miguel Olvera, and Sandra Holland; and many great and great-great grandchildren and extended family.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 8, 2017 at 1:30 pm at Open Door Bible Church. Visitation will be from 12:30 - 1:30 pm prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow the service in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
