Alice "Lisa" Rivera Sealey

Mrs. Alice ""Lisa"" Rivera Sealey, 82, passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2016.

Lisa was born March 18, 1934 in New York City to Emilio and Augustina Rivera. She joined the U.S. Army and met her beloved husband of 57 years, John Henry Alton Sealey, while serving in France. Lisa will be fondly remembered as a wonderful, strong woman, whose funny and feisty personality will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, grandson, Jordan Sealey, and sister, Emily Eschinger.

Lisa is survived by her children, Nita Boehm (Bryan), Tony Sealey (Lisa), and John Sealey (Kelly); 7 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; sisters, Bonnie Velez, Ceci Cruz, and Mary Alvis; sisters in law, Dot Browder, Fran Sealey, and Bobbie Sealey; and special friend, June Barrowman.

A funeral mass will be held Saturday, September 24, 2016 at 11 am at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Friday, September 23, 2016 from 6 - 8 pm at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
