Allen "Al" Myrland Fausch, Sr.

Mr. Allen “Al” Myrland Fausch, Sr., passed away Monday, April 17, 2023, at his home.  He was born in Des Moines, Iowa on April 26, 1954, to the late Myrland and Caroline Fausch.  Al was a devoted husband, dad and Grandpa who loved spending time with his family.  For over 43 years he served the Lord through Calvary Baptist Church, as Business Administrator from 1978 until 2018, then as Associate Pastor for Senior Adults and Pastoral Care from 2018 until his retirement on April 30, 2022.  Surviving is his wife of 46 years, Sharon Elliott Fausch; son, Allen Fausch, Jr. (Jennifer); two granddaughters, Madilynn and Lily; brothers & sisters, John Fausch (Sandy), Chuck Fausch (Karen), Corrine Smith DeYoung (Ron), Judy Smith VanderArk (Dan), Ron Smith, Marilyn Smith Eckels (Bill), Ken Smith, Nancy Smith VanderLaan (Steve), David Hiemstra (deceased) (Linda), Dale Hiemstra (Colleen), Sheryl Hiemstra Graddick, and Paula Hiemstra Harms; also surviving are many nieces and nephews.  A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, April 22, 2023, at Calvary Baptist Church with Dr. Gary Chapman and Pastor Will Toburen officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 134 S. Peace Haven Rd. Winston-Salem, NC 27104.
