Alma Flynt

Ms. Alma Mae Flynt, 91, passed away Monday, September 4, 2017 at her residence. She was born June 2, 1926 in Forsyth County to the late W.E. and Ila Flynt. Ms. Flynt was a charter member of Bethany Baptist Church. She retired from R. J. Reynolds in 1983 with 36 years of faithful service. In addition to her parents, Ms. Flynt was preceded in death by five brothers: Raymond, William Jr., Watson, Max, and Rex; also, one sister, Lois. She is survived by one sister, Sue Motsinger (Wade) and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted 12:00 noon Thursday, September 7, at Bethany Baptist Church with Dr. Brad Stamey officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Park in Rural Hall.
