Ms. Amanda “Pixie” Hope Beddard, 43, of Pfafftown, NC, passed away on June 24, 2025, at Forsyth Medical Center. Ms. Beddard was born on May 21, 1982, in Forsyth County to Randy Beddard and Tandrea Beddard.
Amanda was a loving and giving person. Her life was immense, full of adventure, people, and a love of nature. She loved everyone and always wanted to go the extra mile to make someone smile. Even during her illness and through her pain, Amanda was a constant inspiration.
She was the definition of free spirit. Nothing in this world could tether her wildness. Her whimsical nature shown brightest in her love of art, music and writing. There was no form of art she was unable to create, no instrument she could not play, no song she could not sing.
She was much like a mosaic in the sense that she was so many amazing things amassed together in one beautiful, crazy, awe inspiring work of art.
In her final months of life, Amanda accepted Jesus into her heart. We find peace in knowing that her beautiful spirit will continue to shine in Heaven as it did on Earth.
Amanda was preceded in passing by her maternal and paternal grandparents.
Left to cherish her memory are her parents, Tandrea and Randy; 2 sisters, Chelsea (Joey), Albee; 3 brothers, Matthew, Douglas, and Daniel (Nicole); 11 nieces and nephews; 2 paternal uncles, 2 paternal aunts, a maternal uncle; and 17 paternal cousins.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at Liberty Wesleyan Church with Rev. James Allred Jr. officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be sent to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
