Amber Marie Schimmelpfenning

Amber Marie Schimmelpfenning, age 36, beloved daughter, devoted mother, and cherished friend, passed away tragically on September 9, 2025. Born on August 22, 1989, in Lapeer,Michigan, she lived a vibrant life filled with love and determination. Amber leaves behind three precious sons: Zayne (14), Jaysean (11), and Sebastian (8), who were the light of her life. She is survived by her father, Darwin Schimmelpfenning, and stepmother, Franky; her mother Julie, her sister, Krystal, grandmother, Elaine Knepfler, along with a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and cherished family members. Notably, her live in partner,Rashein Brantley, her uncles Dean Schimmelpfenning (Michigan) and Ron Knepfler (Florida), and her aunt Karen Schimmelpfenning (Tennessee) , shared in her life’s journey. She was also a loving aunt to her niece, Autumn (Florida) and nephew Buck Woodling (North Carolina). 

Amber was a fierce protector and loving mother, whose purpose was to raise her sons with unwavering dedication. As the owner of 4 Paws Pet Grooming Service, she turned her love for animals into a thriving business, and she had dreams of furthering her education to become a veterinary assistant. Amber was energetic, outgoing, and independent, always working hard to provide for her family and achieve her goals. A proud graduate of Balfour High School in 2007,she exemplified resilience and spirit in everything she did. 

She was preceded in death by the father of her children, and longtime partner, De’Angelo Cole,her grandfathers Orven Schimmelpfenning and Joseph Knepfler, and her grandmother Lois Schimmelpfenning. 

Amber requested to be cremated, and a memorial service will be announced in the near future. Cremation services are being handled by Hayworth Miller Funeral Home Silas Creek Chapel in Winston Salem. 

The family would like to thank the community for all the outpouring support of love and encouragement we have received during this very difficult time.

Amber's vibrant spirit and loving heart will forever remain in the minds and hearts of all who knew her.
