Amy Elizabeth Bloodworth

Kernersville – Amy Elizabeth Bloodworth, 56, passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at her residence. She was born on April 20, 1968, in Suffolk, VA to George and Lila Leverett Bloodworth. Amy loved the outdoors, spending time with her plants, and especially the animals and birds. She  was an amazing cook. Amy was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and friend who will be dearly missed by so many.

In addition to her parents, left to cherish her memory are her husband, Scott Newton; two children, Will Newton (Taylor), and Weston Newton (Andi); six grandchildren, Kaden, Maddie, Cohen, Payton, Palmer, and Avery.

There are no formal services at the time.
