Andrew "Drew" Lee Staton

Mr. Andrew “Drew “Lee Staton, 47, passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at his residence. He is the son of Robert and Pamala Loggins Parrish and was born on February 7, 1977, in Forsyth County.  He was a carpenter; enjoyed his BBQ grill, camping and his dog, Jake. Drew liked to make things exciting and was a true character.  He was devoted to his family and is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Arless and Lucille Loggins.  Survivors include his parents, Robert and Pamala Parrish; his daughter, Alexis Anderson (Campbell); a grandson, Charles Anderson; a sister, Tracy Parrish Reeves (Kevin); a brother, Robert William Parrish, II (Edye) his maternal grandmother, Margaret Loggins; a nephew, Dillon Reeves (Madison); three nieces, Sierra Reeves, Megan Parrish and Jessica Goss (Brandon); a great niece, Mia Reeves; his girlfriend, Serena Smith-Cable and her children, Alyssa Mabe(Emma and Eli) and Cody Mabe; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.   A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 noon Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with Pastor Danny Pope officiating.  The family will receive friends after the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Forsyth County Humane Society, 4881 Country Club Rd., Winston-Salem, NC 27104.  Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the family.
