Angela Kristen McHugh

Angela Kristen McHugh, 49, of Clemmons, passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice.  Angie was born April 28, 1974, in Forsyth County, to Joe Franklin McHugh Jr. and Kathryn Ann McHugh Butler. She was preceded in death by her parents. Angie was always able to put a smile on people’s faces and when asked how she was, she replied “I’m fine.”  Left to cherish her memory are her father, Duane Butler; one sister, Katrina Taylor (Scott); nephew, Joseph Taylor (Karley); niece, Ashlea Taylor; and great-nephew, Roman Taylor. Also surviving is her best friend, Kate Linder.  Angie was a resident of Friendly People That Care where she was always the star. She was loved by many staff and her friends.  A funeral service will be held at 12:00pm on Friday, March 1, 2024, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Apostle Terry Sides officiating.  The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm on Thursday at the funeral home.   In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Ln, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
