Angela Kay Spry

Kernersville – Ms. Angela Kay Spry, 57, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at Kernersville Medical Center. She was born on September 30, 1966, in Mecklenburg County to John and Nancy Spry. Angela loved horses and was an International Grand Championship Winner with the Tennessee Walking Horses. She also loved to travel and was a certified scuba diving instructor. Angela enjoyed music and played many different instruments. She loved to spend time with her family as well as her two dogs and cat, Lily, Gracie, and Lucy. 

Angela was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents. 

She is survived by her loving parents, John and Nancy Spry; one brother, Jonathan Spry (wife, Amber); nephew and niece, Brayden and Brynna Spry; and one great nephew, Judah Spry.

A memorial service for Angela will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with Rev. Howard Thompson officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).
