Anise Dandridge Brown

Mrs. Anise Dandridge Brown, 75, of Winston-Salem, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2011 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born June 3, 1935 in Guilford County. Mrs. Brown was a member of Berean Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John William Brown, Jr.; a daughter, Cynthia Denise Brown and a grandson, David Gray Brown. Surviving are four daughters, Debbie Lindley (fiancé James), Diane Webb (Lonnie), Darlene Brown and Doris Azeem (Richie); two sons, David Brown (Helen) and Doug Brown; eight grandchildren, Crystal Hedrick, Christopher Moore, Cristy Young, John Brown, Stacy Brown, Jason Jarman, Ray Heath, Jr. and Tina Baughman; thirteen great grandchildren; three step-grandchildren and two sisters, Doris Harris and Helen Lee. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Berean Baptist Church with Dr. Ron Baity officiating. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
