Anita Gail Lawson

Anita “Gail” Lawson, 65, passed away on August 14, 2024, at her home. She was born July 13, 1959, in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, to the late James Edward and Gladys Mae Wright. Gail was a beloved friend and wife to the late Parris “Red” Ray Lawson for 30 years. She also had a special love of 11 years for the late Clarence Bill Angel. She was also the proud mother and friend to Crystal Hayes (Corky), Brandi Sapp (Jason), Bill Angel (Crystal), all of Kernersville. She was an adoring and loving Granny to Olivia (Aaron), Taylor (Tyler), Chloe, Chase, Will (Michaela), and great granny to Raelynn, Reese, Zaylee, Zane, and one more on the way. 

Gail is survived by Jearl Bunch and Joey Wright (Gail) of TN, Sharon Fields (Bud, deceased), Wanda Carver (Rell, deceased), and James Lawson all of Ohio. 

Granny to many, mom to some, aunt to several. Her heart touched so many through the years and left lasting imprints.

A celebration of life will be determined at a later date.
