Anita Tuit

Ms. Anita Tuit, daughter of John and Paula Tuit, passed away Saturday, December 31, 2016 at Maple Grove Nursing Home in Greensboro.

Anita was born on February 10, 1972 in Freehold, NJ. She graduated from Stamford Central School in 1989. She attended The Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC with a major in Fashion Design. She loved music, acting and dancing. Anita was a bright, colorful and creative person who loved to write poetry and creative writing. She loved life and lived it to the fullest. Anita had a strong faith in God and was a member of The Church of God International. She was preceded in death by her father and her aunt, Judy Tuit.

Anita is survived by her mother, Paula Tuit of Winston-Salem; sisters, Melissa Palmer of Monroe, NC and Lisa Scheiber and husband Samuel of Winston-Salem; brothers, David Tuit of Las Vegas and Daniel Tuit and wife Marcela of Raleigh; uncles, Gary Mason and wife Ruth of Whiting, ME and Jim Tuit of Oakland, NJ; and nephews, Matthew Scheiber of Winston-Salem and Brandon Tuit of Las Vegas.

A celebration of Anita's life will be held Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 2:30 pm at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Pastor Roger King officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
