Ann Everhart Robertson

Ann Everhart Robertson, 77, of Advance, NC, passed away peacefully at her home on September 22, 2026 surrounded by family. She was born on May 5, 1949 to James and Nonia Everhart. Ann was the beloved wife of Richard Dewey Robertson for 61 years. Ann worked as a diamond-cutter at Commercial Lapidary in Mocksville, NC and later with George Walker Florist in Winston-Salem, NC. She was a wonderful homemaker and cook, with the ability to turn any ingredient into a meal that brought the whole family together. Ann loved trips to the NC coast where she would spend her time fishing and visiting good friends. While home, she loved to watch the multitude of hummingbirds that visited her home each year. In addition, she loved gardening- anything from vegetables to beautiful flowers. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Nonia Everhart; her siblings, William Hutchins, James Wayne (Alice) Everhart, Majorie Keaton, and Judy Page, and her son-in-law Daric Beiter. Surviving are her husband, Richard Robertson of Advance, NC; two daughters, Kimberly (Kim) Beauchamp of Advance, NC and Michelle (Spencer) Mell of Lee’s Summit, MO; two granddaughters Sarah (Andrew) Ballard of Advance, NC and Elisabeth Beauchamp of Austin, TX, and two great-grandchildren, Johanna Ballard and Richard James Ballard; and many nieces and nephews. Ann was a member of Bixby Presbyterian Church and faithfully attended Redland Church, IPHC for over 50 years. The family will receive friends at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 25, 2026 at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel. A celebration of life will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Joel Boyles and Mr. Tim Dunn officiating. Interment will follow at the Bixby Presbyterian Church cemetery located at 1806 Fork Bixby Rd, Advance, NC 27006.
