Ann Pratt Hartle

Mrs. Ann Pratt Hartle, 86, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2024, at Atrium Health in Pineville, NC. She was born in Forsyth County on December 27, 1937, to the late James Albert and Mary Ellen Marshall Pratt. Mrs. Hartle retired as a nurse with 20 years of service and later attained her master’s degree in nursing and taught at Forsyth Tech for several years. She loved going to the beach with her family each year. Preceding her in death was her husband, Jack Amos Hartle, Sr. and a granddaughter, Caitlin Piechowiak. Surviving is a son, Jack Amos Hartle, Jr. (Anja); two daughters, Faith Hartle Piechowiak and Robin Hartle Nixon; three grandchildren, Elizabeth Davis (Ford), Tyler Peichowiak, and Caroline Black (Sam); five great-grandchildren, Grayson, Moira, Asher, Sydney, and Charlotte; also surviving is a sister, Ellen Young.  A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, April 26, 2024, at Unity Moravian Church with Rev. Scott Rainey officiating.  Burial will follow in the church graveyard.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.   In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
