Ann Darlene Shoemaker

PINNACLE Mrs. Ann Darlene Shoemaker, 56, passed away Saturday, July 3, 2010 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. She was born in Stokes County on July 6, 1953 to Jesse Hutchens and Clara Bottoms Hutchens. Mrs. Shoemaker was a sales manager at Marshall's Department Store in Winston-Salem for 25 years. She was preceded in death by her father, Jesse Hutchens. Mrs. Shoemaker is survived by her husband, Doug Shoemaker of the home, a daughter, Pamela Bowen of Raleigh, two sons, Chuck Bowen and wife Christa of Winston-Salem and David Bowen and wife Paula of Davidson, her mother, Clara Bottoms Hutchens of Winston-Salem, a special grandson, Jesse Bowen and six other special grandchildren and two sisters, Marlene Hutchens Riggins of Winston-Salem and Duane Lawson of King. A memorial service will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, July 10 at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home Chapel in Rural Hall with Pastor Darrell Fulp officiating.
