Anna Belle Dupre Boneno

Anna Belle Dupre Boneno, 97, went to be with her Lord on April 26, 2016. Born in Belle Rose, LA, she was the daughter of the late Sidney Joseph and Honora Marie Achee Dupre. She was the widow of Luke Anthony Boneno, who died in 1991 after 53 years of marriage. She was a loving mother to her four children and devoted member of St. Ann's Catholic Church in Charlotte, NC. Her deep faith and love of her family permeated her every action. She was compassionate to the less fortunate and ready to help those in need. She dedicated her life to her family, always standing in the shadows watching with pride, as her children and husband were always in the spotlight. She was the ultimate ""cheerleader"". In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by three sisters, Minta Jacob, Nelda Maus, and Mae Simon; two brothers, Sidney and Ivan Dupre; and two grandchildren, David Justice and Annabelle Nykemp. She is survived by two sons, Barry Boneno (wife Mary) and Gary Boneno (wife Nina Shehan); two daughters, Patty Gilleland (husband Mark) and Pam Justice (husband David); nine grandchildren, Connie Russell (husband Jeff), Jennifer Herman (husband Doug), Richard Boneno (wife Jenny), Dusty Bein (husband Keith), Molly Nykemp (husband Eli), Bret Gilleland, Kelly Gilleland, Isabelle Boneno, and Madeline Boneno; and twelve great-grandchildren, Alex Moore, Thomas Moore, Ben Russell, Nathan Russell, Luke Herman, Rodgers Herman, Makenzie Bein, Makaia Bein, Keir Nykemp, Olivia Nykemp, Henry Boneno, and Charles Boneno. A funeral service will be held at 12:00pm on Monday, May 2, 2016 at Light of Christ United Methodist Church of Charlotte, NC with Reverend Marianne Romanat officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Sharon Memorial Park in Charlotte, NC.
