Anna Belle Belton Weavil

Weavil Anna Belle Belton Weavil of Winston-Salem passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 6, 2012 at the age of 85, surrounded by her family. Mrs. Weavil was born on January 6, 1927 in Winston-Salem to the late Ed and Lois Belton. The most important thing in Anna's life was her family. She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother. She had a great sense of humor, loved to read, and enjoyed keeping up with family and friends. She was our family historian. She will be greatly missed. Mrs. Weavil was preceded in death by her sisters, Jean Beroth and Barbara Dempsey. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Charles O. Weavil; daughter, Jan Beeding of Winston-Salem; son, Rick Weavil and wife, Susan McBurney of Winston-Salem; grandchildren, Jason Beeding, Allison Beeding, Scott Weavil, Drew Taylor, Alex Taylor, Rachel Taylor Young and husband, Evan; and brother, Joe Belton and wife, Pat of Wilmington, NC. A celebration of her life will be held at 2 pm, Saturday, May 12, 2012 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. Debbie Layman officiating.
