Annette Stilley

Mrs. Annette Ward Presswood Stilley, 68, of Winston-Salem, NC, passed away after a long illness on Friday, March 10, 2023, at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born on December 1, 1954, to the late Raymond Amos Presswood and Gladys Imogene Ward Presswood.

Annette retired from Fairchild Industries after 30+ years and spoke often of the memories she made with friends during her time there.  She enjoyed reading, watching Hallmark Channel, Home Improvement programs, cooking and spending time with her friends and family.  One of most treasured activities was baking cookies with her granddaughter Blakely Shoaf, who will always hold a special place in her heart.  To know Annette, was to love her as she was warm, compassionate, kind, and loving. She was a beautiful soul and will be greatly missed.

Annette was preceded in her passing by her parents; her late husband (Jimmy Stilley); son (Chad Shoaf), and a sister (Debbie Marino).

She is survived by many loved ones, including her siblings, Bill Presswood (Shirley), Carolyn Reeves (Earl), her twin Janette Arnold, and Kim Littlejohn (Les); brother-in-law Vince Marino; her step-children, Christy Wykes (Gabe), Candy Annas (Jason) and Timothy Knight (Amber); her 9 grandchildren whom she loved dearly; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at Hanes Baptist Church at 2:00 PM, with Pastor Jason Holley officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
