Annie Lorraine Waddell Adams

Annie Lorraine Waddell Blevins Adams passed away at Rose Tara Senior Living on September 23, 2025. Annie was born to Dora Howell Waddell and Ira Lee Waddell in Grassy Creek, Ashe County, NC. She was a member at Woodland Baptist Church since 1959 and retired from Baptist Hospital with 32 years of dedicated service. Annie enjoyed cooking, gardening, and playing golf well into her advanced years. She will be remembered as a woman of faith with a sense of style and beauty. Annie was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Adams; first husband, Dewey Blevins; son, Barry Alan Blevins, daughter, Anita Lynn Kearns; grandson, Michael Blevins; and brother, William Bryan Waddell. Surviving are her son, Mike Blevins (Becky); grandchildren, Melissa Arnold (Daniel); Pepper Berry (John), and Chris Blevins; and a brother, Roger Waddell (Joann). A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, September 29, 2025, at Westlawn Gardens of Memory with Rev. Vic Pyles officiating.
