Annie Tucker Whapham, of Clemmons, passed away Sunday, November 16, 2025, at Trinity Elms Assisted Living.
Mrs. Whapham was born October 7, 1937, in Surry County, to Thomas Elmer Tucker and Drucilla Simmons Tucker. She worked as a secretary for Piedmont Airlines for over 40 years and was a member of Friedberg Moravian Church. In addition to her parents, Annie was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Charles Whapham; her brother, Roy Thomas Tucker (Nancy); and her sister, Marie Tucker Wall (Mack).
Left to cherish her memory are her niece, Tina Compton (Russell); two step-sons, Ken Whapham (Joni), and Philip Whapham (Vickie); four step-grandchildren, Brie Buencamino (Miguel), Brent Whapham (Kellyann), Justin Whapham (Kayla), Lauren Bowling (Mathew); seven step-great-grandchildren, Sawyer Whapham, Stella Whapham, Bennett Buencamino, Anna Buencamino, Easton Bowling, Rhett Bowling, and Levi Bowling; one nephew, Torrey Tucker (Wendy); two great-nieces, Megan Wood (Chris), and Haley McMillan (Jay); one great-great-niece, Ellie Wood; and two great-great-nephews, James Wood, and Jaylen McMillan.
A graveside service will be held 12PM Friday, November 21, 2025, at Forsyth Memorial Park with Rev. Jim Newsome officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.
