Anthony Workman

Mr. Anthony Willard "Tony" Workman, 71, passed away Saturday, May 26, 2018 at his home. He was born in Forsyth Co. on July 22, 1946 the son of the late Alonzo Willard Workman and Mildred Motsinger Workman. Tony has been a born again Christian since his teenage years and was a member of Triad Christian Fellowship in Winston-Salem. He retired from Kentucky Derby Hosiery in Mt. Airy and was an avid deer hunter. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend who will be missed deeply by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Judy Carter Workman of the home; two daughters, Leigh Ann Shutt (David) and Toni Lynn Workman both of Winston-Salem; six grandchildren, Isabella, Genevieve, Seraphina, Evangalyne, Martin and Josephine; and a sister, Ellen Blancato (Lou) of Winston-Salem. A memorial service celebrating Tony's life will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Triad Christian Fellowship in Winston-Salem with Pastor Alan Malchuk and Pastor George Byrum officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 prior to the service at the church. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to: Mt.
