Anton Ray Kamnick

Anton Kamnick, age 57 passed peacefully on May 13, 2025, at Forsyth Medical Center with family by his side. Anton was a loving son, spouse, father, brother, and uncle. 

Anton was born to Albert and Lulamae Kamnick in Springfield, Il. He was a beloved brother to Al Kamnick (spouse Mary Kovar deceased), Michael (spouse Rita Pascowicz), Suann (spouse Steven Meyer), and Carol (spouse Ann Anderson) who reside in Illinois and Ohio. 

He attended Southeast High School in Springfield, Il; Blackburn University in Carlinville, Il; and ultimately received his Master in Business Administration from Sangamon State University (now University of Illinois Springfield) where he met his future wife, Beverly Sanders. In 2002, Anton moved to Winston-Salem and has lived there happily since. 

Anton worked in finance with several local companies and was known for his commitment to performing his job to the highest standard. 

Anton is survived by his spouse, Beverly Kamnick, his son William Kamnick, and his stepson Gabriel Sanders.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM, Monday, May 19, 2025, at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church in Winston-Salem, NC. There will be a wake and burial in Springfield, Il.
