April Densmore

Mrs. April Lynn Quate Densmore, 54, passed into the more immediate presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Duke Hospice: Hock Family Pavilion. April was born on May 21, 1963 to A.C. Quate and Bonnie Mikles Quate in Forsyth County. She graduated with a B.S. degree from Meredith College. She was employed as a paralegal for Brown and Bunch, PLLC for 20 years. She loved all animals, and treasured her four dogs, Pepper, Riley, Jax and Jetty. April was a brave woman who fought to stay active despite her long illness. Her creativity was evidenced by the unique blown glass jewelry she made. While her health permitted, April was active in fundraising for the Scleroderma Foundation. Above all, she had an undying love for her family. She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Charles B. Mikles and Clara Bolt; paternal grandparents, Howard Quate and Lucille Jones. Surviving are her loving husband, Kevin Densmore; parents, A.C. and Bonnie Quate; children, Taylor Elizabeth and William Collins Densmore; aunts, Terri Vestal (Jerry) and Sharon Robertson; and uncle, Douglas Quate. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 16, 2017 at New Philadelphia Moravian Church Graveyard with Dr. Worth Green officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00pm on Friday, December 15, 2017, at Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel.
