Archie "A.W." Marshall

Mr. Archie Warren “A.W.” Marshall, 93, of Winston-Salem, NC passed away Friday, February 9, 2024 at Heritage Woods Senior Living. He was born July 24, 1930 in Tupelo, Arkansas to Archie Mansfield Marshall and Anne White Marshall. A.W. was a veteran who served in the U.S. Air Force and was a lay minister for the Methodist Church. He retired from the Civil Service as an engineer at Fort Gregg-Adams in Virginia. A.W. was an avid wood worker and loved to work in his garden. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Louise Stolins Marshall and two brothers, Carroll and Bobby Marshall. Surviving are his two sons, Doug Marshall (Karen) and David Marshall (Cindy); three grandchildren, Lindsey Miller (Bryan), Warren Marshall and Shayne Marshall (Amanda); four great grandchildren, Drew Miller, Landon Miller, Josiah Miller and Damien Marshall. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, February 15, 2024 at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel with Pastor Bryan Miller officiating.
