Arlene Roark McCloud

Mrs. Arlene McCloud, 90, of Kernersville, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 30, 2023, at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born on May 24, 1933, in Ashe County to Ernest and Selda Roark. Arlene loved going out with her friends, planting her flowers, and working in the yard. She was a loving mother, sister, and friend who will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, Arlene was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence McCloud; her son, Dean McCloud; grandson, David Mackie; sister, Carol Roark; and brother, James Roark.

She is survived by her daughter, Karen Powers (husband, Larry) of Kernersville; her brother, Avery Roark of West Jefferson, NC; sister, Linda Hogan of Marion, NC; sister-in-law, Betty Lou Greene, of Butler, TN; she was also blessed with several nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.
