Arlie Hawks

Mr. Arlie Edward “Ed” Hawks, passed away at home, on October 10, 2019, after long fought battle with cancer. Ed was born in Virginia, on July 19, 1944 to the late Winfred Hawks and Gladys Rippey Hawks. He was preceded in death by brother Sterlin Hawks; a sister Betty Hauser; and first wife Patricia. Ed is survived by his wife Kathy Hawks; sisters JoAnn Boger and Linda Potts; son Larry McIntosh and wife Sherry; grandchildren Eric McIntosh (Faith) and Sarah Burchfield (Randy); great grandchildren Ethan, Samuel, and Julia Burchfield. Also surviving are his stepmother Gladys S. Hawks. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, October 14, 2019 at Gardens of Memory Walkertown.
